Beautiful ending to an amazing series!! I HATE to see this be over....but Jenn you did an amazing job!!! I love love love Jack f'n Carter! While he is a slightly selfish man sometimes ;) He is so completely in love with Cassie. Cassie is so strong for putting up with his crap. And Dean, what a great brother. He knew just when Jack needed a kick in the pants! This story brought together the entire love affair that began in college with Jack & Cassie. They are not a perfect couple. They don't have it easy. But they work at it. & That makes it worth it. Thank you, Jenn, for an amazing ending to an amazing series!

I was engrossed in this series I literally could not stop reading it and when I had to it drove me nuts! lol This was a great series ending book, all the pieces coming together ppl getting their fears and act together FINALLY and Jack realizing that his life in baseball was going to have to stop at some point but I loved that he still continued to be active with the sport through his son. I so recommend this book series! You get to see the ups and downs of being a sports star, how to deal with having a athlete for a spouse, and major decisions the athlete and their families have to make to live a some what normal life. You see all the characters grow up and become better people and prove not only to themselves but to others that they can accomplish anything if they set their minds to it. By book 3, I felt like I was in the story just catching up with friends as if they lived right down the street from me THAT is make a great book or book series. When you the reader feel like you're apart of the story bc you hurt when they hurt, you get angry when they do and so on and that to me is how you separate the "good reads" from the one you know you will read again and again. I see myself picking this series up again and reading and I hope others do the same to. )

This was a beautiful extended epilogue for Jack and Cassie. This book dealt with Jack and Cassie continuing their life with Jack pitching for the New York Mets and Cassie focusing on her photography career...both of them following their dreams.

I was thinking this book would be about the typical happily ever after for our book couples. Well, there was some of that but a whole lot more. Dean and Melissa's story was also included and it was well written! I finally learned and understood what Melissa's deal was. It was very believable and made total sense. The dialogue between all of the characters was funny as all get out! The back and forth with Jack/Cassie, Cassie/Melissa, Jack/Dean had me laughing so hard. It was as if a real conversation was taking place. I loved it! There was also drama that went down with Jack and Cassie that was very interesting.

In conclusion of this series, I've learned about the other/business side of baseball and it's not all hearts and flowers. I never thought about how difficult and the sacrifices that need to be made in order to find a balance (if there truly is a balance). I could not imagine working under that kind of stress!!! Wow. Thank you J. Sterling for telling this wonderful, entertaining and educational story!! I enjoyed this series!

Why Not 5 Stars?

Simply, I would not consider reading this book again. There was nothing wrong with this book. It was interesting, mushy, great dialogue, excellent characters, etc. It's just not a book I would reach to and read again.
Firstly I have to say how much I admire an author who despite what the fans want write only what their heart is telling them to!!! When Jenn announced that she just wasn't feeling Dean and Melissa's story and decided to do a 3rd book for Cassie and Jack I knew it was going to be great! When your heart fights with your head like that and you follow your heart, you know it's only going to be good!!

It's no secret The Game Changer was a little disappointing! Especially to be the last of Jack and Cassie but The Sweetest Game did not disappoint in finishing off this series! It somewhat felt a little rushed at times but that's bound to happen when your skipping months and years between chapters. The positive is I absolutely LOVE this. I love seeing where characters go in the future and not just a few months or a year but 5 to 10 years is great!!! This worked well in Jamie Mcguires Walking Disaster and worked great in this story! I also love how the epilogue was told from Chances point of view, something totally different and I loved it!!

It seemed to me that we were getting a story from Chance in the future but maybe I read too much into things!! Hehe it's hard to think how that story could go with a similar theme such as baseball so I'll be interested to read if anything does happen!

Well done Jenn on a beautiful finish to a wonderful series! I'll miss Jack but I know I will be pimping him for years to come! My Jack F'n Carter!!!
