The Devil Revenge The Devil Eyes Jennifer Loren Books
With out giving too much away, Kayla really showed a different side of her self in this book. She was take charge and really showed that she could take care of business. I loved all the action and the gun scenes, and all the scenes that make this book what it is. I don’t want to spoil anything so I will say that it was a lot better then book one when it come to all the action and info that we get. I loved the characters that we saw and rooted for the good guy? Good bad guys? to win. 4 stars #2OCCJDTags : Amazon.com: The Devil's Revenge (The Devil's Eyes) (9780984733675): Jennifer Loren: Books,Jennifer Loren,The Devil's Revenge (The Devil's Eyes),DAB Publishing,0984733671,Action & Adventure,Adventure,FICTION Action & Adventure,Fiction - General,Fiction : Romance - Contemporary,FictionRomance - Contemporary,FictionRomance - Paranormal - General,FictionRomance - Suspense,Romance - Contemporary,Romance - Suspense,FICTION Romance Paranormal
The Devil Revenge The Devil Eyes Jennifer Loren Books Reviews
I have to agree with most of the reviews below. I absolutely loved both books!! Although, I found the second one to be a little more entertaining because of all of the different characters. I debated about buying the books at first because their covers are not appealing; however I'm glad I moved past that because the books were awesome. I had a hard time putting the books down- they are just that good!! If you are looking for a book that is vey entertaining, I would definitely suggest purchasing both books.
I am in love with this series. I totally am invested in each character. Ryan, Elijah, Nick, Kayla, Sam...I love them all. The way the first person perspective shifts from character to character lets you get inside everyone's head and know their motivations. It heightens the emotional value of the book. This book takes what happened in the first book and makes it even more complicated and awesomely convoluted. There is no way to describe it without spoiling it, so I will just say read it now! Just make sure you read these in order. They are not stand alone.
I can't believe more people haven't reviewed these books. Just makes me think many people haven't read them. There were some minor typos in the story but nothing that took away from the story.
I enjoyed the first book more than this one, although I did like this one as well. My only critique of this book would be that some of the really major, over-taking parts happened so fast that they were kind of unbelievable. I just wish that this book was a little longer and gave a little more details about some of the plots.
I would recommend this book to others and I'm looking forward to the Devil's Son.
Just like the first book, The Devil's Eyes, I could not put this book down or wait for it to finish. It was such a wonderful read that I felt glued to the events taking place in this book. Suspenseful and very thrilling and yet so excitingly new. I love the story that evolved for Ryan and Simone Brady. I'm so happy things ended so well for Kayla and Nick in this book that I don't know if I'm up to reading the 3rd book The Devil's Son (The Devil's Eyes). I don't know if I can go through all the suspense and pain that I did with the first two books. It's like "please just let them all survive and have a good and safe life". I am that in tune with the story.
The booked picked right up were it left off. Nick makes a bad call and people thinks he's died, So that leaves Kayla heart broken and trying to pick up the pieces, but her sorrow becomes her strength. Kayla becomes the boss lady and she control everything. New characters are introduced into the mix. Kayla is out to get everyone and anyone that was involve in her husbands death. But is he really dead??? You would have to read the story to find out. But the book brings so much more, there son little Nicky, The story goes on with explaining things that happened in the first book. New enemies are made old one are still trying to bring down the Jayson Family and the fight continues for the devil and his princess.
As with "The Devil's Eyes," I would rate this more of a 4.5. However, I didn't want to round down to 4 stars because there are popular books with 4.5 - 5 star ratings that don't come close to filling the promise.
I enjoyed the story evolution very much, as well as the new characters introduced. The book ends being well resolved, but with a great teaser for the third book in the series. There are a few typos and minor errors in this book ("except" instead of "accept" for example occurred in a few places), but this author clearly has talent and weaves a great story. The technical glitches can't override the talent it takes to write a rich plot that is filled with so many layers, twists, and turns.
I have to add...I just read the third book and am greatly disappointed with it turning into a paranormal series. I cannot recommend this series beyond this second book.
When I read book 1, I saw so much high school drama embedded in a mafian romance that I decided not to read book 2. I later forced my self to buy book 2 since it was cheap at 99c. I do not regret my action one bit. Kayla evolved to be a strong character, it's not just the romance but the whole story is intriguing that I could barely put the book down. Do not let book 1 discourage you. Book 2 made up for the shortcomings of book 1.
With out giving too much away, Kayla really showed a different side of her self in this book. She was take charge and really showed that she could take care of business.
